Celebrating Literacy at Lindell

Lindell staff is kicking off the year celebrating literacy, beginning with a recent professional development day held for kindergarten, first and second grade teachers. The staff developer worked directly in classrooms, modeling engaging literacy lessons tailored to each grade level. Kindergarten students explored letters and the letters found in their classmates’ names, first graders learned how adding details can help create longer, more descriptive sentences, and second graders focused on incorporating feeling words to make their writing more expressive and meaningful.
